Structural Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Civil Engineering, Engineering Design & Technologists
Our client is a rapidly growing engineering organization delivering complex industrial infrastructure projects across North America. As part of its continued expansion, the company is investing in a new in-house Structural Engineering capability to support the design of modularized industrial facilities, prefabricated systems and heavy process equipment.
This is a unique opportunity to become one of the founding members of a new structural engineering team, helping establish technical standards, influence engineering strategy and play a key role in delivering highly engineered industrial projects.
The successful candidate will work alongside multidisciplinary engineering teams to develop innovative structural solutions that improve constructability, reduce field installation time and support modular project delivery.
The Senior Structural Engineer will lead the structural design of industrial steel structures, equipment support systems and modular assemblies from concept through detailed engineering. Working closely with mechanical, piping and project engineering teams, you will ensure designs are safe, practical, economical and optimized for fabrication, transportation and installation.
As the structural engineering function grows, this individual will have the opportunity to mentor junior engineers and help shape future engineering processes and standards.
