3D Printing Operator

Printerior is an additive manufacturing company that uses recycled and sustainable plastics to produce filaments for most 3D printers on the market. The company is also an on-demand manufacturing house for 3D-printed products used in the architecture, aerospace, maritime, and industrial molding industries.

Our 3D Printing Operator role is focused on the day-to-day operations of a 3D printer farm. You will be working with modeling software to design and edit parts, slice 3D model files for printing, load and unload 3D printers (FDM, SLA, and SLS), perform general 3D printing maintenance, and post-process 3D printed parts. You will also be able to work with our team on large-format robotic 3D printers.

• Model and slice 3D models using CAD programs and slicer software
• Build and maintain 3D printers
• Load and unload 3D printers and materials
• Clean and post-process parts
• Work on print farm optimization with hardware and software

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Creative mind for problem-solving
• Currently in pursuit of or have received a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Design, or similar
• Demonstrate basic mechanical and electrical design approaches and capabilities
• Understand the basics of additive manufacturing
• Proficient in CAD modeling software (Solid Works, Rhino, Fusion
  360, or similar)
