The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) team is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support the 777x program located in Berkeley, MO
.

Position Overview: We are looking for Experienced Manufacturing Engineers, with expertise in airplane subsystems, production readiness, and delivery center flyaway operations. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the efficient production of our world-class aerospace products, including advanced platforms for our Air Proprietary programs.
Position Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement manufacturing processes for airplane subsystems.
- Ensure production readiness by identifying and mitigating risks, optimizing workflows, and enhancing operational efficiency.
- Support delivery center operations by streamlining processes, improving quality, and ensuring timely delivery of products to our customers.
- Utilize data analysis and engineering principles to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Participate in design reviews and provide input on manufacturability and assembly considerations.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
- 2+ years work-related experience with a Bachelors degree OR an equivalent combination of work-related experience and technical education.
- (Level
3): 5+ years work-related experience with a Bachelors degree OR an equivalent combination of work-related experience and technical education. - B.S. or higher in Aerospace, Civil or Mechanical Engineering
- Experience supporting defense and/or aerospace customers
- Experience with 3D model based instruction
- Experience with any of the following: IVT, CREO, CATIA, MES, Gold, PrimeR, Aurora, VisVSA, DELMIA,
- Vis Mockup, Pro Model, Flex Sim, 3D Printed Parts, Moonshine Shop, Maker Space, ImDev, ICIDO, Multi
- Monitor Collaborative Rooms - Experience with Manufacturing Execution System Common Image (MESci)
