Professional Engineer - Bridge Design
The St. Louis, MO office of Modjeski and Masters is seeking a Professional Engineer (PE) with at least 5 years of Bridge Design Experience and experience with IDOT or MoDOT projects.
What We're Looking For- At least 5 years of related bridge design experience
- Valid Professional Engineer License (PE) SE is preferred
- Experience with IDOT or MoDOT Projects required
- Review and check structural design calculations.
- Perform structural analysis and design of bridge components using analysis software.
- Provide information for design reports.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned, including field inspections and construction service assignments.
- Communicate effectively in English both orally and in writing.
- Prepare project-related documents and internal correspondence.
- Perform and check quantity take-offs from contract plans.
- Review and check drawings.
- Use engineering analysis software such as LUSAS, RISA-3D, LEAP Bridge, AutoCAD, Micro Station etc.
- Correctly apply relevant design specifications, including: AASHTO, AREMA, AISC, ACI, etc.
