Electronic Systems Design, Analysis, and Test Engineer
An opportunity is available for an Electronic Systems Design, Analysis, and Test Engineer for current and emerging programs. In this role, you will develop and test electronic and electrical system requirements using analytical and technical skills. You will translate requirements into system architectures and modify hardware and software designs for aircraft, unmanned vehicles, and other advanced systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, document, and maintain electronic and electrical system requirements based on customer desires and contract specifications.
- Analyze, translate, and implement requirements into system architecture, hardware, and software designs.
- Develop statements-of-work and technical performance specifications.
- Test and validate systems to ensure designs meet operational and functional requirements.
- Resolve product integration issues and production anomalies.
- Investigate emerging technologies to develop concepts for future product designs.
- Monitor supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements.
- Solve problems concerning fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle.
Required Qualifications
Education:
A Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science is required.
Experience:
This position requires 5-9 years of relevant experience.
Technical
Skills:
Proficiency with Microsoft Word is required.
Location:
Candidates must currently reside in or be willing to relocate at their own expense to the St. Louis, Missouri region.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the Aerospace Industry.
- Experience with electronic or electrical system designs or tests based on requirements.
- Experience with in a design, build, or test team.
- Experience creating, developing, or maintaining engineering processes.
- Strong knowledge of data structures, system design, and architecture.
- Experience using communication, analytical, and organizational skills within a team environment.
