Immediate need for a talented Project Engineer – Life Sciences. This is a 06 to 12 months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in St. Louis, MO (Onsite).

Pay Range: $80 to $120/hourly. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

• The client is seeking a Project Engineer to support a Design/Build pharmaceutical manufacturing consolidation project on the owner's side. The ideal candidate will have strong experience coordinating contractors, design firms, technical teams, documentation, and project execution while ensuring compliance with GMP, building codes, safety, engineering standards, and end-user requirements.
• Manage contractor and design firm generated documentation to ensure RFIs, submittals, design firm deliverables, etc. comply with our client requirements.
• Act as liaison between Technical Project Lead, contractors, design team, and owner technical resources throughout project.
• Ensure all work complies with relevant building codes, end user requirements, engineering practices, safety guidelines and regulations, and site specific requirements throughout development and execution of project.
• Assist Technical Project Lead with project scope, schedule, and budget development, risk and change management, and other project deliverables as needed.
• Provide technical support and assist in resolution of issues that arise during project development and execution.

• The project will consolidate tableting manufacturing and packaging operations from three St. Louis facilities into a single operational space, while also consolidating powder down-filling operations from two facilities into separate animal and non-animal production areas within one facility.
• All manufacturing and packaging processes will be transferred as part of this initiative.

• Must a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and min 5 years of experience within pharmaceutical, life sciences, GMP manufacturing, chemical, or regulated manufacturing facility projects or industries.
• Candidate should have direct working experience with EPC/design firms and construction contractors on facility modifications, equipment/process transfers, or manufacturing consolidation projects.
• Candidate must have understanding on consolidation and transfer of tableting, packaging, and powder down-filling manufacturing operations.
