MECHANICAL ENGINEER

Industry-leading consulting engineer is seeking a talented Mechanical Engineer to join it's growing team.

As a Mechanical Engineer, you will work closely with project managers and multidisciplinary teams to plan, design, rehabilitate, and support the construction of mechanical systems for water and wastewater treatment facilities. Responsibilities include the design of HVAC, plumbing, utility, process mechanical, pumping, and fire protection systems, as well as equipment selection, preparation of technical calculations, specifications, reports, cost estimates, and construction documents.

You will also support facility assessments, equipment rehabilitation and replacement projects, startup and commissioning activities, review of contractor submittals and RFIs, and coordination with operations staff, equipment manufacturers, and instrumentation and controls engineers to deliver practical, maintainable, and reliable engineering solutions.

Successful candidates will have experience in one or more of the following areas: mechanical system design; HVAC load calculations; equipment sizing and selection; process piping and pumping systems; treatment plant mechanical equipment; preparation of technical specifications; construction support; facility evaluations; and coordination with vendors, manufacturers, and multidisciplinary design teams.
