Qualifications:
- Experience with AutoCAD and Revit
- Field drafting, pipe fitting, or fabrication experience a plus
- Knowledge of piping systems and joining methods
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate fabrication and spool drawings
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and project specifications
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Responsibilities:
- Create detailed pipe process routing layouts, fabrication drawings, and project documentation
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, and construction teams to ensure designs meet project requirements
- Develop bills of materials and prepare material takeoffs for procurement and estimating
- Review and modify shop drawings as needed, ensuring accuracy and quality
- Provide technical support during the construction process and field changes
- Utilize 3D models and scanning technology to produce accurate as-built documentation
- Participate in the design process, offering creative solutions for pre-construction and off-site fabrication
