We are looking for a Commissioning Manager for our mission-critical data center projects. A Day in the Life:Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of commissioning activities for data center projects
Develop and manage commissioning plans, schedules, and documentation from design through turnover
Coordinate with Project Manager, Superintendent, and subcontractors to align commissioning scope and expectations
Lead commissioning meetings with the team
Oversee functional performance testing of critical systems including electrical, mechanical, controls, and life safety
Review design documents and submittals for operational readiness
Track and resolve commissioning issues, deficiencies, and punch list items
Ensure integrated systems testing is executed safely and successfully
Support training of owner's operations staff and development of O&M documentation
Verify systems meet uptime, redundancy, and performance requirements
Manage a smooth transition from construction to operations
NecessaryQualifications:
5+ years of experience in building commissioning or mission-critical construction
Hands-on experience commissioning data centers
Strong working knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems
Experience with integrated systems testing and turnover processes
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders in high-pressure environments
Willingness to travel or be site-based as required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, with a focus in Mechanical, Electrical, or similar Construction Management, or related field
