Director of Finance

Kforce's client
, a fast-growing, multi-location franchise located in the Saint Louis, MO area, is seeking an experienced Director of Finance. This client offers competitive compensation, performance-based bonuses, and comprehensive benefits. The position will be scheduled as 4 days in the office to start and 3 days going forward.

• Direct and manage outsourced bookkeeping (GL entries, bank reconciliations, financial statement prep)
• Oversee AR/AP teams for accuracy, efficiency, and scalability
• Coordinate month-end close processes
• Lead royalty reporting and WIP management
• Ensure timely, accurate weekly KPI reporting
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and advanced financial analysis
• Guide GAAP audit process with outside auditors
• Standardize workflows across branches
• Provide financial literacy training for managers

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA/CPA preferred)
• 7-10+ years of financial leadership in service, construction, restoration, or franchise environments
• Expertise in job costing, WIP, cash flow management, and operational finance
• Experience managing external accounting partners and internal teams
• Proficiency with accounting platforms (Quick Books Online, Sage) and advanced Excel skills
• Ability to translate financial data into actionable operational insights
• Highly organized, process-driven, and adaptable to a fast-paced environment

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
