Financial Analyst, Ops

Responsibilities

A Kforce client in Saint Louis, MO is seeking a Financial Analyst to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is naturally curious, confident in their abilities, and energized by working cross-functionally to solve meaningful business challenges. In this role, you will partner closely with teams across operations, engineering, business development, legal, senior leadership, and investors. You will play a key part in turning data into actionable insights, helping guide strategic decisions and drive performance across the organization.

• Lead financial and operational analysis by tracking performance trends, and identifying key business drivers across systems and regions
• Partner with operations and engineering to understand cost structures and improve performance visibility
• Support annual budgeting and forecasting, along with monthly management reporting and variance analysis
• Continuously enhance reporting accuracy, consistency, and overall usefulness for decision-making
• Contribute to executive and board-level materials, including strategic analysis and investment memos
• Translate complex financial insights into clear, concise narratives for non-finance stakeholders
• Take ownership of ad-hoc and cross-functional projects, tackling ambiguous questions and driving practical, data-informed solutions

• Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related degree (or equivalent experience)
• 3-5 years of experience in finance, analytics, consulting, or operations
• Strong Excel skills (formulas, logic, structured analysis)
• Experience with dashboards or reporting tools (e.g., Power BI)
• Experience in a fast-growing or entrepreneurial environment

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
