What You'll Be Doing

The Bank Payments & Deposit Operations Manager is responsible for leading payment strategies and overseeing banking products and services to ensure alignment with Stifel Bank's strategic objectives. This role drives innovation in payment solutions, enhances service quality, ensures regulatory compliance, manages operational risk across payments and deposit platforms, and recruits, develops, and maintains top talent to support deposit growth and maintain regulatory compliance.

What We're Looking For

* Champion payment innovative initiatives by providing strategic guidance and subject matter expertise.

* Serve as a trusted resource for all levels of management on payments and deposit operations.

* Direct and optimize operations for payment networks and deposit systems to ensure efficiency and reliability.

* Lead and inspire teams to foster collaboration, accountability and exceptional customer service.

* Recruit, develop, and maintain top talent to support deposit growth and maintain regulatory compliance.

* Establish and enforce policies and procedures in accordance with banking regulations and industry best practices.

* Align team objectives with the bank's vision and strategic plan.

What You'll Bring

* Deep expertise in payment products and deposit operations.

* Expertise in ACH, Wire, SWIFT, and check processing.

* Strong knowledge of banking regulations including NACHA, Truth in Savings, Regulation E and

D.

* Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions.

* Ability to assess risk and liability and respond promptly with sound judgement.

* Proven leadership experience with a track record of building high-performing teams.

Education & Experience

* Minimum

Required:

Bachelor's degree in finance or equivalent experience.

* Minimum

Required:

5+ years in a management position of payments and deposit operations.

Licenses & Credentials

* Minimum

Required:

Payment certifications (AAP, APRP and/or NCP). #LI-JK1

Systems & Technology

* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
