The Riverview Gardens School District (RGSD) serves the educational needs of approximately 5,700 students in Riverview, Bellefontaine Neighbors, and surrounding communities in North St. Louis County. This is a full-time, on-site Accountant position based in Greater St. Louis. The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing detailed financial reports, maintaining budget controls, and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. Core duties include processing invoices and payments, reconciling accounts, assisting in audits, preparing financial documentation for school operations, monitoring expenditures, and supporting financial forecasting and planning for the district.

- Proficiency in Accounting, Financial Reporting, and Budget Management
- Experience in Financial Analysis, Auditing, and Reconciliation practices
- Strong skills in Problem-Solving, Organizational Management, and Attention to Detail
- Proficient in Accounting Software and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA preferred but not required)
- Knowledge of state and federal financial regulations and guidelines
- Experience working in the K-12 education sector is a plus
