* * Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.

* Experience:

*
* * Minimum of 2 years of experience in tax accounting (ASC 740) and tax compliance (or a related area), including preparation and/or review of tax filings and U.S. GAAP income tax provisions.  
* Experience with ASC 740, federal and state tax, and general tax research.

Competencies:

* * Strong analytical, problem-solving, and research skills.  
* High attention to detail and the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.  
* A desire to learn and understand the value of leveraging technology to drive greater efficiency, improve tax processes and manage risk.  
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.  
* Familiarity with tax technology systems, preferably One Source.  
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of staff and management.
* Experience with ASC 740 and provision to return reconciliation.
