Position: SME - Loan Servicing Operations with Security Clearance
We are seeking a senior-level Subject Matter Expert (SME) to lead onsite loan servicing operations supporting the USDA Rural Development Servicing Office. This role oversees high-volume mortgage servicing, bankruptcy processing, financial transactions, loss claims, mail operations, and imaging support. The SME serves as the primary operational authority and liaison to Federal leadership.

Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations for a 60+ person servicing team
Serve as primary interface with Federal leadership
Monitor production metrics and quality standards
Lead issue escalation and corrective action implementation
Ensure compliance with loan servicing regulations and internal controls
Oversee staffing, onboarding, and performance management
Present monthly operational status reports

Required Qualifications
Minimum 10 years management experience in loan servicing
Experience supervising large operational teams
Strong understanding of mortgage servicing workflows

Experience with bankruptcy, loss claims, or compliance-driven environments
Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting Federal or Government loan programs

Experience with Loan Serv or comparable servicing platforms
Audit/compliance experience
Security Requirements
