Preferred qualifications
  • Advanced degree preferred (MBA, Finance, Accounting, Healthcare).
  • 7+ years of progressive FP&A or financial leadership experience, ideally in healthcare or multi‑site operations.
  • Proven experience with budgeting and forecasting, including annual budget cycles and multi‑year financial planning.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and partner directly with senior executives across multiple locations.
  • Strong analytical and presentation skills, including month‑end reporting, variance analysis, and executive communication.
  • Experience supporting major financial initiatives (e.g., productivity, NOI improvement, service line profitability) and working with tools like Vizient ODB.
  • Familiarity with data governance processes (cost centers, statistics, UOS) and deep‑dive operational analyses (CMI, LOS, compensation, supply variances).
  • Ability to thrive in a high‑visibility, fast‑paced, multi‑hospital environment.
Ideal candidate
  • Supported multiple departments or service lines at once.
  • Partnered directly with senior leaders (VP, Director, Executive).
  • Owned forecasting cycles, variance explanations, and leadership‑ready reporting.
  • Been trusted with visibility and escalation, not shielded from it.
Job Summary

Manages financial analysis and reporting.

Job Responsibilities and Requirements Primary Responsibilities
  • Performs major role in financial analytics and/or financial statement preparation. Reviews technical areas.
  • Reviews, analyzes and ensures the accuracy of the financial and statistical reports for presentation to management.
  • Responsible for management functions including activities related to staffing such as recruitment, hiring, performance evaluation, and compensation determination.
  • Conducts special financial studies and projections and develops recommendations for financial decision making.
  • Designs, develops and modifies financial models through use of appropriate databases; manages special projects as assigned, including research, forecasting and exploring viable alternatives.
  • Presents proactive ideas about creating operational efficiencies.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Education
  • Bachelor's degree
Experience
  • Five years’ experience and demonstrated progressive leadership responsibility.
Physical Requirements
  • Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.
  • Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements.
  • Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors.
  • Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication. Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.
  • Frequent keyboard use/data entry.
  • Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting and gripping.
  • Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs.
  • Rare climbing.
