Location: St. Louis

This manager opportunity is responsible for leading and developing a team of financial professionals that pay Financial Advisors and Branch Managers within Company Advisors. This individual has overall accountability that all payments are accurate, timely, and in accordance with firm policy and industry regulation.

Job Description

Financial Advisor Compensation (PCG Retail, PCG Profit Formula, FiNet, Solutions, Investment Resource Center, and Distribution Consulting Services).

Recruiting, Retention, and 4

Front Loan/Bonus programs.

Maintain and enhance financial control processes to ensure accurate records, separation of duties and adherence to policies and procedures.

Ensure plan payments are properly reflected in the firm’s financial statements, including month-end accruals.

Ensure a high quality of service is provided to Branch Managers, Financial Advisors and Branch Associates and that the department meets its CARE commitments.

Raise critical issues with the department Director and other appropriate individuals to facilitate their resolution.

Application System owner for the 4 major applications used by the department. Responsible for all systems development, enhancements and testing.

Identify and implement continuous process and service improvements.

Qualifications

5+ years accounting experience and 3+ years management experience.

Knowledge of securities industry compensation practices.

Maintain internal controls to mitigate risk within the department.

Ability to balance and prioritize critical responsibilities to ensure all deadlines are met on a timely basis.

Ability to prepare and develop team members for additional responsibility.

Strong leadership, organizational and analytical skills.

Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.

Extensive knowledge of securities industry compensation practices.

Advanced degree in Accounting or Finance.
