Job Summary and Qualifications

Supports the assigned contracting teams and Account Management in all financial respects for sourcing and implementation events. Works both independently and collaboratively to provide various financial and savings/opportunity analyses for Health Trust clients. This includes preparing market share data, analyzing vendor proposals and preparing detailed data for financial analysis.

  • Accurate and timely savings and opportunity analysis of vendor pricing proposals

  • Data cleansing and analysis of purchase histories obtained through Requests for Information and internal data sources

  • Support Sourcing team and Account Management throughout vendor negotiations

  • Effective communication of results to finance and sourcing team leads

  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of detailed pricing files as related to contracting projects

  • Evaluate price and product amendments to purchasing agreements

  • Development of methodologies for performing financial and opportunity analysis of proposals and improving processes

  • Develops, shares, and leverages best practices across the Financial Analysis Community by staying engaged in internal and external activities and organizations that cultivate this knowledge

  • Ad Hoc requests from management

  • Ongoing financial assistance as it relates to the management of purchasing agreements

  • Interacts daily with both internal and external individuals

  • Accepts feedback well and works to improve performance when needed

What you should have for this role:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business or healthcare Required

  • 3+ years of experience in relative experience Required

  • Financial analysis and heavy attention to detail Required

  • Strong experience in MS Excel Required

  • Power Pivot, Power BI, SQL and Alteryx Preferred
