Financial Analyst

We are a fast-growing company operating both a multi-unit restaurant group and a consumer packaged goods (CPG) manufacturing business. Our premium products include frozen pizzas, pasta entrées, pasta sauce, and dry pasta sold through retailers across the nation.

As we continue expanding restaurant operations and scaling our CPG distribution footprint, we are adding a Financial Analyst to support our finance and leadership team with data-driven decision making, forecasting, and financial performance management.

The Financial Analyst will play a key role in supporting financial planning, operational analysis, and day-to-day financial management. This role blends FP&A, operational finance, and accounting support, ideal for someone who wants visibility across a full operating business (manufacturing + retail + distribution + restaurants).

This is an on-site role in the St. Louis area.

• Build and maintain rolling cash flow projections
• Support annual budgeting and monthly reforecasting
• Track actual performance vs budget and provide variance analysis
• Develop and maintain financial models for revenue, margin, and cost drivers

• Develop P&Ls for retail accounts, distribution channels, product lines, and restaurant locations
• Conduct ROI analysis for new products, promotions, and retail launches
• Support pricing, margin, and cost-of-goods analysis

• Analyze promotional and trade spend performance
• Support deduction tracking and resolution with distributors and retailers
• Support customer profitability and net revenue analysis

• Support invoice payments and reconciliation processes
• Assist with month-end reporting and financial review packages
• Partner with accounting and operations teams to ensure data accuracy

• Channel profitability analysis (DSD vs distributor vs ecommerce)
• Capex and investment return analysis
• Executive reporting as needed

• Data validation and financial systems improvement
• Cross-functional support with sales, supply chain, and operations
• Process automation and reporting efficiency improvements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
• 2–5 years experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or corporate finance
• Understanding of financial statements and business drivers
• Ability to communicate financial results to non-finance stakeholders

• Experience in CPG, food manufacturing, distribution, or retail finance
• Experience with trade spend, deductions, or customer profitability
• Experience in Quick Books
• Experience supporting multi-entity or multi-channel businesses

• Highly analytical and detail-oriented

• Salary range: $65,000 – $80,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications
