Job Overview
Position:
Associate Portfolio Strategist (HNW) – Full‑time, hybrid (office four days per week from June 1 2026; three days per week prior). The role supports Edward Jones Generations® by delivering investment strategy and portfolio execution for high‑net‑worth clients.
- Partner with branch teams to provide high‑quality Advice, Planning, Products, and Services (APPS) that meet client wealth‑management needs.
- Collaborate with Senior Portfolio Strategists and Senior Planners to develop tailored investment advice, portfolio analysis, and implementation plans.
- Assist senior members of the Portfolio Strategy Team, financial advisors, and clients with basic to intermediate investment portfolio scenarios, focusing on tax‑efficient asset allocation and portfolio transition.
- Coordinate consultations and content that align with client objectives, risk profiles, account mandates, and personal preferences.
- Work with WMFM or HNW internal stakeholder groups to improve workflow processes and strengthen partnership dynamics.
- Support branch teams and client interactions by identifying resources to achieve desired results.
- Stay current on industry trends, competitors, and regulatory changes, assessing their impact on product offerings and team personalization goals.
- Act as an internal associate portfolio consultant.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- FINRA Series 7 and Series 66 licenses required within 6 months of hire.
- Intent to obtain or progress toward a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
- Three years of experience in financial services; 1–2 years of portfolio management, portfolio analysis, or investment consultation preferred but not required.
- Technical aptitude, analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Subject‑matter expertise in economic, investment, and portfolio‑management strategies and concepts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and relevant wealth‑management software (e.g., Aladdin Wealth, Morningstar, Fact Set).
- Experience with data‑visualization tools (Tableau or Power BI) is an advantage.
- Series 24 license.
- Master’s degree.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, databases, and additional wealth‑management platforms.
- Data‑visualization competencies.
- Local residency in Tempe, AZ or St. Louis, MO to meet office hybrid requirements.
Hiring Minimum: $86,300 | Hiring Maximum: $146,700.
