Overview
The Partnership Strategy & Accounting team within the Finance Division collaborates across the firm to design and deliver multiple partnership models. The team works closely with financial advisors, outside tax advisors, and other firm stakeholders to optimize the firm's partnership model options and provide education to our partners. The Strategy Analyst III is responsible for the strategic design and implementation of educational materials, tools, and presentations for our partners covering all aspects of our partnership models.
This role is also responsible for helping to design and evolve our partnership model solutions to support firm strategies and ensure their successful implementation with digital product teams.
- Lead collaboration with firm leaders (business segment leaders and functional leaders) as a partnership subject matter expert (SME) to conceptualize and recommend solutions for enabling firm policies and strategies.
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of educational solutions.
- Develop and manage relationships with senior leaders and key internal stakeholders to deepen their understanding of the financial impact of firm strategies and business activities on partnership programs.
- Champion the innovation and evolution of existing processes, controls, and tools in order to meet the changing needs and increasing complexity of the organization.
- Frequent verbal & written presentation of analysis, as well as presentation of firm strategic information and analytical insights, to senior & executive firm leaders.
- Proactively identify opportunities with broad impact and visibility, propose solutions to relevant parties, and drive implementation of solutions.
- Participate in, and frequently lead, cross-functional groups responsible for implementing projects in support of divisional or firm-wide business objectives.
- Conduct analysis that facilitates the transformation of complex data/information into actionable insights.
- Bachelor’s degree is required with emphasis in a business discipline such as accounting, finance, economics, data science or analytics (or relevant work experience).
- 7+ years of relevant work experience.
- Strong ability to summarize and communicate complex financial concepts in both written and verbal formats.
- Strong financial analysis, forecasting, and financial modeling skills.
- Ability to influence associates and leadership using verbal, written, and presentational skills.
- Ability to summarize financial information and concepts and clearly communicate to senior leadership.
- Ability to prioritize and execute on multiple tasks and independently adjust to changing priorities.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
- Ability to translate business strategy into business requirements.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills including working ability to utilize pivot tables and advanced formulas.
- Basic understanding of accounting processes and financial statements (CPA license, a plus).
- Working understanding of agile product management is a plus.
- Proficiency in using Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI/ Power Query is a plus.
- CPA or MBA preferred.
Candidates that live within a commutable distance from our Tempe, AZ and St. Louis, MO home office locations are expected to work in the office four days per week effective June 1, 2026. Before June 1, 2026, candidates that live within a commutable distance from our Tempe, AZ and St. Louis, MO home office locations are expected to work in the office three days per week, with preference for Tuesday through Thursday.
