Senior Manager Sales Use Tax

Kforce is partnering with a client in the Saint Louis, MO area to identify a Senior Tax Manager to join their team. This is a fully onsite opportunity with a well-established company known for its strong culture and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

* Lead sales and use tax operations, compliance activities, and cross-functional coordination with internal leadership and business teams

* Manage, mentor, and support tax department staff while overseeing external service providers and audit-related activities

* Research and analyze tax law changes, assess business impact, and implement process or procedural updates as needed

* Support domestic and international tax planning initiatives, tax return processes, and interactions with taxing authorities

* Perform analytical reviews, risk assessments, and data analysis related to tax compliance, reporting, and audit support
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required;
Advanced degree preferred

* CPA certification required with 10+ years of progressive tax experience preferred

* Strong background in sales and use tax compliance, regulations, and audit support

* Experience with indirect tax and tax research software, including Vertex, preferred

* Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP and strong overall compliance knowledge preferred
