Role Description

This is a full‑time, on‑site role based in St. Louis, MO for a Controller specializing in Real Estate Private Equity. The Controller will manage the day‑to‑day accounting functions, oversee financial reporting, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and maintain accurate records for real estate assets and investments. Responsibilities include managing budgeting and forecasting processes, preparing tax documents, assisting in audits, and providing leadership to support the firm’s financial strategy.

Qualifications
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and corporate accounting principles.
  • Experience in real estate investment accounting and private equity finance is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency with accounting software and financial tools, such as Quick Books, Yardi, or similar platforms.
  • Analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with cross‑functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required; CPA or relevant advanced certification is a plus.
  • Attention to detail, reliability, and a commitment to maintaining financial integrity.
