PositionSummary
The Group Controller will serve as a key finance leader responsible for overseeing accounting operations, financial reporting, controls, and process improvement initiatives across multiple business units. This role will directly manage three experienced Division Controllers and partner closely with executive leadership to support continued growth, scalability, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and mentor three Division Controllers while fostering accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, financial reporting, and balance sheet integrity.
- Develop a deep understanding of the business drivers behind the balance sheet and income statement, including the underlying operational and system-generated data.
- Partner cross-functionally with operations, finance, and executive leadership to improve visibility, reporting accuracy, and decision-making.
- Evaluate and enhance ERP, reporting, analytical, and other technology and related processes.
- Drive process improvement initiatives that support scalability in a fast-growing environment.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required; CPA preferred.
- 12+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience preferred with a blend of public accounting and industry experience ideal.
- High-potential candidates directly from Public Accounting will also be considered.
- Strong technical accounting, financial reporting, and leadership capabilities.
- Intellectually curious with the ability to understand ERP systems, analytics, technology, and the operational processes behind the numbers.
- Self-directed leader who thrives in an environment with autonomy and no micromanagement.
Base compensation is targeted around $200K plus bonus, accompanied by outstanding benefits and long-term career growth opportunities within a highly successful and expanding organization.
