Job Description:Summary
The Regulatory Reporting Analyst is responsible for the preparation and filing of all required financial reporting to bank regulators, including the Federal Reserve Board, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, and various state regulators. The role will prepare and file reports annually, quarterly, monthly and weekly. These reports cover concepts such as financial reporting, capital, deposits, legal entities, and exposure among others.
Reports are prepared for multiple consolidated and stand‑alone legal entities.
- Prepare timely and accurate regulatory reports and filings (e.g., Call Report, FR Y‑9C, FR Y‑2900, FR Y‑8, etc).
- Read and interpret regulatory guidance and instructions, source vital data, and prepare report schedules with detailed supporting work papers.
- Collaborate with teams to develop relationships that ensure reported data aligns with regulatory requirements.
- Perform data aggregation to source the appropriate data for reporting.
- Reconcile regulatory reports to the general ledger and financial statements to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Maintain documentation of reporting processes, reconciliations, and internal controls.
- Support month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close processes related to regulatory reporting.
- Research new regulatory developments and reporting requirements and implement accordingly.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency.
- Support audit activities for regulatory examinations, operational risks, and internal and external audits.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Ability to interpret accounting and regulatory guidance and apply it to reporting processes.
- Proactive with initiative and ownership of assigned tasks.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial statement preparation.
- Ability to identify issues and resolve them in a timely manner.

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- Minimum three (3) years of GAAP accounting experience, including specific experience with financial reporting.
- Relevant banking or financial services experience.
- Solid Excel working knowledge.
