Impact Finance: Deposit & Payment Solutions - Operations Analyst

U.S. Bank is looking for an Impact Finance Operations Analyst to serve as the primary daily contact between the Impact Finance New Markets, Historic Tax Credit, and Syndications group and all other U.S. Bank teams involved in bank accounts related to tax credit deals.

• Assist tax credit customers with opening accounts related to deals, including handling Know Your Customer (KYC) tasks.
• Act as a liaison between customers and various bank departments, handling day‑to‑day client calls and resolving client issues.
• Ensure accurate portfolio implementations for products and services.
• Provide primary support to clients through communication and analysis.
• Help manage compliance projects such as periodic KYC reviews, inactive account reviews, process‑related projects, and audit requests.
• Collaborate across Impact Finance partnerships with New Markets, Affordable Housing, Syndications, and other bank business lines.
• Deliver minimal work product errors and edits.
• Back up other ops analysts and support team collaboration.
• Proactively work on and solve unfamiliar issues with minimal oversight.
• Maintain an optimistic team voice, share honest feedback, and speak up in meetings.
• Attend ongoing training and meetings to stay current with bank policies and procedures related to account openings, KYC, overdrafts, and more.

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent work experience.
• Five or more years of experience in financial accounting activities.

• Thorough knowledge of deposit products and treasury management services.
• Experience with Know Your Customer (KYC) processes.
• Experience opening accounts using the Fusion system.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a deadline‑oriented environment.
• Ability to work effectively with individuals and groups across the company.
• Independent thinker who manages time wisely.
• Experience preparing for or participating in scheduled audits of departmental processes.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.

This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.

Pay Range: $75,820.00 – $89,200.00 (range may vary by location).
