The Impact Finance Syndications Fund Manager strengthens the firm’s relationships with existing accounts and drives continuous service improvements with the ultimate focus on business retention. The role primarily focuses on LIHTC/NMTC Funds and is the primary face of U.S. Bancorp Impact Finance to upper tier investors on a post‑close basis. Responsibilities include preparing and delivering annual and quarterly reports to investors, facilitating financial model preparation, coordinating annual audited financial statements and tax returns, processing legal documentation and invoices, and managing syndicated funds from close to investor exit.
The Manager also communicates with internal Impact Finance Asset Managers and investors on lower tier requests to gain investor consent and supports pre‑close activities with the Syndications Project Management team as needed.
- Typical bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
- Five or more years of related experience
- Strong financial analysis skills, understanding of financial models, and familiarity with internal rate of return concepts
- Knowledge of partnership tax returns, financial statements, tax concepts and partnership law and legal documents
- Basic knowledge of risk assessment and evaluating targeted returns from investments
- Ability to prioritize work, initiate projects or tasks, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
- Proficient computer navigation skills using Microsoft Office and financial modeling packages
- Creative problem‑solving and outside‑the‑box thinking
The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule with an in‑office expectation of at least three days per week and flexibility to work externally for the remaining days.
