Associates are required to be in‑office 1–2 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility for productivity and work‑life balance. Alternate locations may be considered if candidates reside within a reasonable commuting distance from an office. Candidates not within that distance will not be considered unless an accommodation is granted as required by law.
- Assist in the development and refinement of pricing strategies to maintain competitive and profitable products in Individual & Small Group ACA markets.
- Build and maintain rating models; provide analytical insights and guidance to ensure accurate pricing for existing products and potential new market entries.
- Collaborate on special projects to support Individual ACA growth strategies and market expansions.
- Work with internal teams and state/federal regulatory agencies (e.g., CMS) to prepare rate filings and address policy updates, ensuring ongoing compliance.
- Assist in training of actuarial trainees, analysts and specialists.
- BA/BS degree.
- Passed a minimum of four Society of Actuaries (SOA) actuarial exams.
- Minimum of 3 years related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, and formulas.
- Intermediate SQL and/or SAS query experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel Power Query.
- Strong working knowledge of Excel VBA.
- Health insurance industry experience.
Salary range: $94,560 to $170,208. The range reflects geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level. Locations:
California;
Colorado;
New York;
Virginia.
