Job Overview
Bank of America is seeking a Private Banking professional to expand client relationships by identifying opportunities to deepen existing relationships and advising on clients’ financial needs across all product lines, including credit, assets under management, and deposits. The role involves executing the Client Management Process, partnering across the enterprise to deliver a branded client experience, and may require involvement in residential mortgage loan origination subject to SAFE Act registration.
Responsibilities- Drive inflows of new business across all product lines into existing book of business.
- Lead complex credit opportunities, including structured credit deals.
- Grow book balances and year-over-year revenue.
- Partner with and mentor Private Client Managers on more complex products and client relationships.
- Act as Chief Operating Officer for the client team, coordinating relationship management activities and ensuring successful delivery of the branded client experience.
- Encourage use and adoption of digital capabilities to enhance the client and client team experience.
- Build relationships with internal and external partners and centers of influence.
- Series 7, 63, and 65 (or Series 7 and 66); unlicensed candidates may be considered if willing to obtain licenses within 90 days per exam after the first working day.
- 7+ years of successful experience in managing relationships with high-net-worth clients or equivalent financial services/business experience.
- Excellent ability to work in a team environment.
- Strong interpersonal and influence/partnership skills.
- Significant knowledge of banking and credit, general understanding of investments, trust, and wealth transfer.
- MBA or post-graduate degree.
- CFP, CPA, CFA, CTFA, CFM or JD.
