Gardner Capitalis a private equity firm focused onaffordable housing and renewable energy development, investor, and tax credit syndicator with primary regional officeslocatedin St. Louis, Missouri and Dallas, Texas.

Gardner Capital has a rapidly growing national platform and is looking to add to its team for the following role.

The Financial Analyst I is an entry-level finance professional within the Financial Planning & Analysis team responsible for supporting financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, investment analysis, and portfolio reporting for Gardner Capital’s affordable housing, renewable energy, and structured finance businesses. Working under the guidance of senior team members, this role develops financial analyses,maintains forecasting models, prepares management reporting, and supports underwriting and due diligence activities that enable informed business and investment decisions.

The position providesa strong foundation for developingexpertisein corporate finance, investment analysis, and strategic financial planning.

• Build and maintain financial models for projects and investments.
• Perform budget versus actual variance analysis.
• Assistin annual budgeting and rolling forecasts.
• Analyze financial statements and operating performance.
• Prepare lender and investor reporting schedules.
• Monitor project KPIs and portfolio metrics.
• Assist with treasury forecasting.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives.
• Accounting knowledge
• Quantitative analysis
• Organizational skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related discipline
• 0–2 years of financial analysis experience
• Advanced Microsoft Excel

• Real estate or investment analysis exposure
• SQL, PowerBIor VBA exposure
