The Business Banking Credit Portfolio Officer role is responsible for supporting credit underwriting and monitoring for new and existing clients. Key responsibilities include completing credit analysis, evaluating risks, and writing financial analysis using various tools and systems. Job expectations include analyzing financials, projections, industry data, covenant compliance, collateral, and policy requirements to ensure alignment with the bank's risk appetite. This role reports to the Commercial Credit Manager that supports the market.
Responsibilities- Analysis of client financial information, identification/mitigation of potential risks, compliance with regulatory requirements and evaluation of collateral in determination of credit worthiness
- Complete monitoring activities via analysis of clients' financial performance and collateral evaluation to ensure appropriate requirements are met
- Listen in to client meetings to develop a deeper understanding of the client's business, management team, and past and future performance
- Review completed client requests to ensure compliance with policy and procedures
- Understand how credit data is used internally and provided to regulatory partners
- Assist with periodic portfolio reviews
- Supports the credit monitoring process for existing clients.
- Prepares credit analysis to facilitate the decisioning of a client's credit worthiness.

- 2+ years of solid Commercial Banking experience
- Experience in financial analysis, structuring, underwriting, and portfolio management
- Analytical/technical skills, including financial accounting, modeling, and loan structuring
- Strong communication skills; ability to communicate vertically, horizontally, and externally
- Industry knowledge across multiple sectors
Minimum Education Requirement:
High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent
Shift: 1st shift (United States of America)

Pay Transparency details
Pay range $70,000.00 - $95,800.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education, and skill set. Discretionary incentive eligible. This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
