A very mission-driven organization, in St. Louis, is searching for an interim CFO/VP of Finance to join their executive team and help lead their accounting/finance processes. They plan for this professional to come on board, complement their leadership team and provide them with the strategic direction, and daily oversight, that they need. This is a very unique opportunity that will allow the right professional to make an immediate impact on a wonderful organization!!

For this opportunity, candidates will need to be degreed in accounting/finance, have 10+ years of progressive experience to accounting/finance leadership roles, a CPA and public accounting experience is a plus, experience in the non-profit/NFP industry is highly preferred. Candidates need to be pro-active, approachable and a positive leader.

A well-established, and stable, non-profit/NFP organization that offers a wonderful culture and atmosphere. Hybrid work schedule and will be considered for a perm opportunity if that is of interest.

• Member of the leadership team and involved in driving key decision making
• Partner with CEO
• Provide solid executive analysis
• Responsible for all accounting/finance processes
• Month/year-end
• Lead the annual budget processes
• Negotiate business contracts and insurance plans/coverage
• Supervision of staff

• Degree in accounting/finance or similar field
• Masters/MBA/CPA are a plus, but not mandatory
• 10+ years of progressive experience to accounting/finance leadership roles
• Experience as a CFO/VP of Finance or Director roles
• Effective, and enjoys, serving in a hands-on leadership role
• Experience in the non-profit/NFP industry is highly preferred
• Experience to include accounting, finance, cash/treasury, banking, strategic planning
• Must enjoy being in a hybrid role that combines hands-on and strategic duties
• Pro-active
• Positive, and effective, team leader. Must be people-focused.
