The Family Support Division is seeking applications for a Benefit Program Technician. This position will be located in the St. Louis County Child Support Office based at 9900 Page Ave., St. Louis, MO.
ResponsibilitiesAs our Benefit Program Technician, you will serve Missouri citizens by assessing their Child Support needs during phone calls, in-person office visits and online inquiries. You may assist and guide them through services such as verifying paternity, establishing child support orders, and enforcing and/or modifying Administrative and Judicial orders.
We offer a six-month training program for all new employees with additional training as needed. This position has a consistent and structured work schedule with a generous leave benefit that allows for work/life balance. QualificationsTo succeed in this role, you must have a High School diploma or equivalent and at least four years of customer service OR have a Bachelor's Degree.
Ideal CandidateTo thrive in this role, you must be compassionate, non-judgmental, and supportive. The ideal candidate would possess excellent customer service skills, experience working with several computer programs simultaneously and a strong attention to detail.
Lack of post-secondary education will not be used as the sole basis denying consideration to any applicant.
