10 is excited to partner with a rapidly expanding, dynamic organization in the tech space, seeking an Assistant Controller to play a critical role in their finance team as they continue scaling operations. This is a unique opportunity to take on a key leadership role and work closely with senior executives, auditors, and cross-functional teams to drive financial efficiency and compliance while supporting the company’s ambitious growth trajectory.
As the Assistant Controller, you will oversee all aspects of the company's financial systems and processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and financial efficiency. You'll work closely with senior leadership, auditors, and cross-functional teams to streamline operations and drive strategic growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the month-end close process, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and preparing financial statements.
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of the general ledger, financial reporting, and cash flow management.
- Develop and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
- Provide in-depth financial analysis and recommend process improvements to enhance business operations.
- Coordinate and manage the annual audit process, ensuring a smooth audit and a clean financial statement.
- Assist in due diligence for acquisitions and integration of financial functions for newly acquired companies.
- Collaborate with senior executives to establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for financial performance.
- Optimize financial systems (Net Suite, Salesforce) for efficiency and automation.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 5+ years of finance and accounting experience.
- In-depth knowledge of financial reporting and a strong understanding of GAAP.
- Hands-on experience with Net Suite and Salesforce.
- Solid experience with ASC 606 revenue recognition and related compliance.
- Experience with mergers and acquisitions, managing lender debt covenants, and private equity is a plus.
