Location: St. Louis

About the Position:

Serves as a Public Affairs Specialist in the St. Louis District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Works closely as an integral member of the regional public affairs team, exercising responsibility to plan for and execute regional communications strategies for agency policies and programs within the District's area of operations. This position is eligible for situational telework. This position is NOT a full‑time telework position.

Minimum Qualifications NH-02

General

Experience:

Three years progressively responsible experience, 1 year of which was equivalent to at least the NH-01/GS-04 grade level which includes performing technical and/or administrative tasks, communicating effectively orally and written, and assisting with developing communication materials.

Education:

Four year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree.

Combination of

Education and Experience:

A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 36. Then divide your total number of completed undergraduate semester hours (or equivalent) by 120. Add the two percentages.
