Mehlville Fire Protection District (MFPD) is growing! MFPD provides Fire, EMS Rescue, EMS Transfer, and Mobile Integrated Health to the communities we serve. We cover 52 square miles and respond to over 18,000 emergency responses annually. MFPD has an excellent reputation for providing cutting-edge emergency medical services.

Due to our high volume, we are adding three Critical Care Paramedics to our team.

Job Requirements:

· Must possess a current Missouri EMT-P License

· Must possess a current, valid Driver’s License

· Ability to meet the physical demands and perform essential functions of the position, including regular attendance

· Ability to work five 48-hour shifts per month (48/96 schedule)

Preferred Qualifications:

· CCP-C or FP-C , ACLS, PALS, PHTLS or ITLS, and AMLS. MFPD will pay for CCP-C or FP-C and other certifications

· Two or more years Paramedic experience

Wages:

·$69,350 without CCP Certification; $98,976 after 4 years of service

·$76,350 with CCP-C or FP-C Certification; $105,976 after 4 years of service

· 100% paid health insurance premiums for you and your family; maximum annual out-of-pocket expenses are $3,000 per participant or $6,000 for family
