This position is for a Postdoctoral Research Scholar (with benefits) to work on research cognitive changes in aging, the cognitive neuroscience of aging, personally and socio-emotional aging, and/or translational impact.
Job Description
Primary
Duties & Responsibilities:

Trains under the supervision of a faculty mentor including (but not limited to):
* Study Development:
Conducting literature review, designing studies, creating study materials and collecting data.
* Analyzing Data:
Compiling, cleaning, and analyzing data.
* Writing:
Writing manuscripts.
* Communication:
Meet with the PI and the lab regularly to discuss research progress and address any issues that arise.
* Presentation of Research:
Poster presentations and talks at conferences.
Working Conditions:
This position may require traveling between the Danforth and WashU Medicine campuses.
Salary Range:
Base pay is commensurate with experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
* A PhD in Psychology or a related field.
* Skilled at research design, participant recruitment, data management, statistical analysis, and scientific writing, and an interest in mentoring junior lab members in these areas.
* Expertise with developing and conducting lab, web-based and/or archival psychology studies.
* Demonstrated ability to complete projects, as evidenced by quantity and quality of publications.
* Ability to work independently, and take initiative.
