Find your calling at Mercy! Assists physicians in the medical center by performing all duties necessary to provide perfusion services during cardiac, vascular, ECMO, and other surgical cases. Reports to the Manager‑Perfusion Services. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
Join our team of 4 highly skilled Perfusionists at Mercy Hospital St Louis! Mercy is a level 1 Trauma, Burn, and referral center for multiple hospitals. We have a state‑of‑the‑art Heart & Vascular Hospital on campus.
Responsibilities- Demonstrates a comprehensive knowledge of all clinical skills used in patient care and operation of all perfusion equipment in the medical center, in a manner that exemplifies a commitment to high levels of quality and teamwork.
- Effectively participates in the day‑to‑day clinical and operational needs of the perfusion services department, and functions as an equal shareholder in all clinical and on‑call duties.
Education:
Bachelor's (minimum) or Master's in Perfusion Sciences.
Licensure:
Must hold a Missouri license as a Licensed Clinical Perfusionist (LCP) or be eligible for a provisional Perfusionist license in MO.
Experience:
1‑2 years' experience preferred. New Graduate Perfusionist will be considered.
Certifications:
Certified Clinical Perfusionist (CCP) required. ABCP certified or eligible.
