BJC Health Care System is hiring a Full‑Time Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) for Christian Hospital (St. Louis, MO) - Graphics (Echocardiology) Dept.

Sign on Bonus: $7,500 (Eligible)

• Full‑Time Day Shift: Monday‑Friday 7am – 3:30pm
• Paid On‑Call: You’ll be compensated for every 5th week & 1 holiday per year for being on‑call, even if you’re not called in, with premium pay if you are.
• Performs tests and procedures at various locations throughout the hospital, maintains accurate patient logs in EPIC, updates daily charges in the computer, utilizes cardiac lab menus in the computer, maintains cardiac lab patient files.

• Associate's Degree or Trade School equivalency.
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS).

• New grads welcome to apply.

The ECHO and Stress department of CH performs in depth testing to determine the functioning of the human heart.

Role

Purpose:

The Cardiac Sonographer performs a variety of cardiac testing, including treadmill stress testing, holter monitoring, transthoracic echocardiography, transesophageal echo, stress echo and cardiac doppler.

Responsibilities:

• Performs tests and procedures at various locations.
• Maintains accurate patient logs.
• Updates daily charges in the computer; utilizes cardiac lab menus.
• Maintains cardiac lab patient files.
