BJC Health Care System is hiring a Full-Time Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) for Christian Hospital (St. Louis, MO) - Graphics (Echocardiology) Dept

$7,500 Sign on Bonus Eligible

• Full-Time Day Shift :
  Monday-Friday 7am - 3:30pm
• Paid On-Call :
  You’ll be compensated for every 5th week & 1 holiday per year for being on-call, even if you’re not called in, with premium pay if you
• Performs tests and procedures at various locations throughout the hospital, maintains accurate patient logs in EPIC, updates daily charges in the computer, utilizes cardiac lab menus in the computer, maintains cardiac lab patient files
• Fantastic learning opportunities to gain experience and learn cutting edge echo guided procedures

• Associate's Degree or Trade School equivalency
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS)

The ECHO and Stress department of CH performs in depth testing to determine the functioning the human heart

The Cardiac Sonographer performs a variety of cardiac testing, including treadmill stress testing, holter monitoring, transthoracic echocardiography, transesophageal echo, stress echo and cardiac doppler.

• Performs tests and procedures at various locations.

• Updates daily charges in the computer, utilizes cardiac lab menus in the computer.
• Maintains cardiac lab patient files.
