Job Details:

• Monday through Friday schedule with rotating start times from 6:30 AM to 11:00 PM as needed
• Required to work 3-4 weekday call shifts and 1-2 weekend call shifts per 6-week schedule period (may vary based on unit needs)
• Must respond to calls within 40 minutes from call to clock-in time
• 2 years of experience required (will consider 1 year if from Level 1 trauma facility)
• BSN preferred
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Must have scrubbing experience for cardiac, thoracic, and vascular procedures
• Must have circulating experience
• Heart and lung transplant experience required for night shift positions
• Work primarily with cardiac and thoracic cases, including vascular procedures (open and endovascular), transplants (liver, kidney, pancreas), and Whipple procedures
• Will float within service line as needed
• Must work with adults in a 16-room cardiovascular operating room environment
• Responsible for entering missing instruments into Censi Trac system
• EPIC charting system experience preferred
• Navy scrubs required
• Maximum 7 days requested time off per 13-week contract
• Must reside at least 75 miles from facility (local candidates not accepted)
• Every other weekend required per facility policy
