Overview

The salary indicated represents a base pay rate. Years of service adjustments, shift differentials, and other targeted salary payments are applied to the total compensation of your paycheck and are subject to eligibility requirements of the appropriate differential.

This position is located at Bellefontaine Habilitation Center, 10695 Bellefontaine Rd., Saint Louis, MO 63137. Working hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with Saturday/Sunday/Holidays off. You may need to flex hours for oversight of the various shifts on a regularly scheduled basis to meet the needs of the facility.

You will be working with staff who enjoy caring for persons who are impacted by a mental illness or developmental disability. You can make a difference in the lives of our consumers so they too have the opportunity to pursue their dreams, live their lives to the fullest, and be a valued member of their community.

Design, implement, and modify behavior support plans for a caseload of up to 35 persons with developmental disabilities to enhance adaptive behaviors and diminish challenging behaviors. Train staff in Advanced and Basic Safety Care. Observe consumer behavior, complete behavior support plans, determine consumer progress towards goals and modify behavior support plans accordingly.

• Possession of a current license to practice as a Behavior Analyst in Missouri.
• Board Certified by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BCBA).
• Strong observation skills.
• Demonstrate professional collaboration skills with consumers.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
