Pharmacy Operations Coordinator – 1101 North Jefferson
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Pharmacy Operations Coordinator to ensure the smooth, compliant operation of pharmacy workflows at our 1101 North Jefferson site. This position supports medication order intake, label/manifest workflows (including multi-med/Yuyama operations), deliveries, and communications with patients, covered entities, and remote processing teams.
Key responsibilities- Manage incoming medication orders (ERx queues), prioritize urgent prescriptions, and ensure timely label printing and verification.
- Coordinate patient communication regarding medication arrivals and arrange deliveries by online platforms (Uber Health) and third-party carriers; verify required signatures and maintain delivery records.
- Support multi-med/Yuyama packing workflows and adhesive box/manifests; ensure Rx admin info is recorded on labels and eliminate manifest discrepancies.
- Check in incoming deliveries, reconcile with purchase orders/manifests, and oversee transfers of short-dated stock between sites.
- Coordinate with remote operations teams to process refills and print labels; troubleshoot workstation access and vendor systems (McKesson, Cardinal).
- Prepare and manage expired/returnable items for reverse distributors; schedule Fed Ex/UPS pickups and keep accurate chain‑of‑custody records.
- Manage laundry/logistics for pharmacy items and maintain site supplies.
- Maintain inspection readiness (MO pharmacy inspection items), ensuring electronic drug reference access and required records are available.
- Support covered entity client communications, 340B contract transition tasks, and documentation required for contract compliance.
- Assist in onboarding/training of clerks/techs on operational SOPs and label/manifest standards.
- HS diploma or equivalent. Minimum 1 year pharmacy operations or healthcare admin experience.
- Able to pass background check and drug screen.
- Preferred: CPhT or MO pharmacy technician registration.
- Preferred: experience with Yuyama/multi-med workflows, McKesson/Cardinal, adhesive label manifests, and Uber Health/third-party delivery platforms.
- Strong verbal and written communication, strong organizational skills, attention to detail.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between Boca sites as needed.
- Physical ability to lift 25–50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
