Your Role:
We are seeking a highly detail-oriented Cell Marque Quality Control Scientist to join our team. You will be responsible for the analytical and functional testing of monoclonal and polyclonal antibodies, detection systems, and ancillary reagents. Your work ensures that our clinical Immunohistochemistry (IHC) and In Vitro Diagnostic (IVD) products meet the highest standards of sensitivity, specificity, and reproducibility before reaching clinical laboratories.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform and analyze assays on tissue samples and other biological materials.
- Develop, optimize and validate test protocols and procedures.
- Prepare reagents, solutions and controls for assays.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment.
- Document and maintain accurate records in accordance with good documentation practices.
- Identify trends and anticipate quality issues using data analytics.
- Guarantee compliance with regulatory standards in all QC activities.
- Assist QA teams in ensuring overall product and process quality.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and laboratory protocols.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in scientific discipline (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Microbiology, etc.)
- 2+ years experience performing and analyzing IHC essays in a quality control or research setting.
- Leadership experience.
- Understanding of IHC principles, techniques, and applications.
- Proficiency in using laboratory equipment and software
- Knowledge of quality control principles and practices.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Understanding or experience with ISO & FDA regulations.
- Pay Range for this position: $60,900.00- $91,300.00.
- The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors. Position may be eligible for sales or performance-based bonuses. Benefits offered by the Company include health insurance, paid time off (PTO), retirement contributions, and other perquisites.
