Job Description
BJK People's Health Centers provides comprehensive mental health services to children and adolescents in the northern and central parts of the City of St. Louis and North St. Louis City. Our professional staff serves a caseload of approximately 2,800 patients, more than 95% of whom are chronically mentally ill and suffering from major psychiatric disorders. Hopewell Center operates the Psychosocial Rehabilitation Center and Comprehensive Psychiatric Rehabilitation Center for adults and youth.
Position OverviewWe have an immediate opening for a Community Support Specialist Supervisor for our CPRC Jr. Program. The Supervisor manages a team of seven to eight Community Support Specialists who provide direct care to school‑age youth with chronic mental illness and/or behavior issues.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical supervision regarding all aspects of client care.
- Offer training and support to the team.
- Oversee the quality of documentation.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and compliance guidelines.
- Maintain program quality and effectiveness.
Education / Requirements:
- Master’s Degree in Social Work or Counseling (required).
- Licensure as a Clinical Social Worker or Professional Counselor (preferred).
- Three years of experience in related fields such as psychosocial clubhouses, supported employment or educational programs, clinics, or other relevant social service or mental health programs.
- At least two years of progressive supervisory or program director experience (strongly preferred).
