Position Overview:

Practice Manager

As a Practice Manager at Mercy, you’ll play a vital leadership role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our medical practice. You’ll oversee daily workflows, manage and support caregivers, and drive initiatives that enhance patient care, team performance, and practice growth. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about leading with compassion and excellence.

Directly responsible for the oversight of daily operations and staff supervision of two physician business units or one unique specialty practice. Ensures professional and technical operation of clinical unit with moderate complexity and that all policies and procedures are followed on a day-to-day basis with minimal supervision by clinic administration. Responsible for the overall management of the business units in accordance with Clinic Initiatives:
Physician Satisfaction, Co-Worker Satisfaction, Patient Satisfaction, Quality, and Business Performance. Performs all related duties as assigned. Reports to Director of Operations or VP of Operations. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

• Lead and manage day-to-day operations of the practice
• Supervise and support clinical and administrative staff
• Optimize workflows to improve efficiency, quality, and patient satisfaction
• Foster a positive, collaborative, and mission-driven work culture
• Contribute to strategic planning and practice development

• Education:
  
  High school diploma or equivalent (education may substitute for experience)
• Experience:
  
  Minimum of 1 year in healthcare or supervisory role (unless preferred education is met)
