A fast-paced hospital environment is looking for a dependable, energetic Linen Distribution Technician to support daily linen delivery and materials management across multiple facilities. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys staying active, takes pride in keeping operations running smoothly, and thrives in a service-focused setting.

Schedule will be Tuesday-Saturday
Pay: $17- $19 per hour
What You'll Do

You'll play a key role in ensuring patient-care areas receive the supplies and linen they need every day. This position combines physical activity, customer service, and coordination across several hospital towers.

Daily responsibilities include:
  • Transporting and delivering linen carts throughout multiple hospital towers, including navigating elevators, tunnels, and long walking routes.
  • Working with automated guided vehicles (AGVs) that deliver linen to depots, then distributing carts to assigned departments.
  • Stocking, organizing, and maintaining supply rooms and warehouse areas.
  • Reviewing par levels, usage trends, and collaborating with department staff to ensure supply accuracy.
  • Receiving materials, verifying quantities, tagging/labeling items, and processing receipts in inventory systems.
  • Supporting recall notifications and usage investigations.
  • Delivering and stocking linen on patient floors, condensing carts, and responding to linen service tickets.
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant work environment aligned with OSHA and Joint Commission standards.
  • Partnering with the linen team to meet daily service levels and complete shared workloads.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned

• What You Bring
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience (supply chain, inventory coordination, warehouse, materials transport, or similar).
  • Strong reliability and consistency-this role supports essential hospital operations.
  • Comfort using Microsoft tools and basic analytics.
  • Ability to learn and use inventory management systems.
  • Clear communication and customer-service mindset.
