Hilton Garden Inn North Park, St Louis, MO 63134. Position Type:
Full Time. Salary Range: $15.50 Hourly.

Assure efficient collection, sorting, cleaning, and distribution of laundry to provide high‑quality laundry services to our guests.

• Collect, record, sort, and process property laundry.
• Handle laundry of up to 30 pounds and operate equipment that requires bending, stooping, and lifting.
• Operate the presser, which requires continuous bending, standing, and manual dexterity.
• Assist in other areas of the laundry department during downtime.
• Manually fold sheets efficiently and neatly.
• Clear laundry chute and sort linen in carts.
• Answer telephone calls and inquiries from guests and associates regarding laundry service.

• Respond to guest requests for assistance, direction, and other information.
• Report suspicious persons, activities, or hazardous and unsafe conditions to a supervisor or manager.
• Turn in all items found in associate’s working area to the property Lost and Found Department.
• Other duties as assigned by the supervisor, such as cleaning rooms, assisting Room Attendants, or cross‑training when necessary.

• Ability to push or pull laundry carts carrying heavy loads up to 150 pounds.
• Ability to lift and carry objects up to 30 pounds, continuously transporting laundry to and from shelves and carts.
• Ability to pull linen from washers and dryers weighing up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to continuously move throughout the laundry department working in various areas within extreme temperatures.

• Any combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job.

All associates must maintain a neat, clean, and well‑groomed appearance (specific standards available).

Upon employment, all associates are required to comply with the standards, rules, and regulations established by the Company and updated from time to time. Associates who violate property rules or have irregular attendance will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.

The hospitality business functions seven days a week, twenty‑four hours a day. Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, associates may be required to work varying schedules, weekends, holidays, and overtime to reflect the business needs of the property. Associates may also be required to attend group and/or department meetings in addition to the work shift as necessary. In addition, this business requires a hospitable service atmosphere to be projected at all times.
