We’re looking for a Recruiter to support the high‑volume recruitment and onboarding of our 1099 Independent Contractor drivers. This role is ideal for a recent college graduate or early‑career professional eager to learn Talent Acquisition and HR fundamentals within the logistics and courier industry.
What You’ll DoAs a key link between our Operations team and independent contractor drivers, you’ll play a direct role in keeping our business moving:
- Manage full‑cycle, high‑volume recruiting for 1099 Independent Contractor drivers
- Build and maintain a strong contractor pipeline using job postings, social media, referrals, and proactive outreach
- Serve as the primary point of contact for driver applicants via text, phone, and email
- Lead driver onboarding, including orientations, system setup, document tracking, and early engagement
- Run required compliance checks and ensure all onboarding documentation is complete and accurate
- Maintain up‑to‑date records in systems such as Zoho Recruit, CXT, and Open Force
- Partner with Operations to align recruiting efforts with current and future driver needs
- Track recruiting and retention metrics to identify trends and improvement opportunities
- Support early‑stage driver retention through follow‑ups and issue resolution
- Continuously look for ways to improve recruiting and onboarding processes
- Pitch in when needed, including occasional delivery support to help meet customer needs
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field
- Recent graduate or early‑career professional encouraged to apply
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Professional, friendly, and service‑oriented attitude
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint) and eager to learn new systems
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Flexible, team‑first mindset; ready to jump in where needed
