This position will strategically source, identify, screen and refer quality applicants who will support the vision and mission of the Company. This will be accomplished by following the standards that are part of our culture while filling open positions in a timely and cost‑effective manner through the following functions. Other duties may be assigned.
WhatYou Will Be Doing
- Create and proactively establish and implement recruiting strategies that attract, identify, and secure candidates for current and future openings.
- Source passive and non‑passive candidates and qualify experience level for all applicants applying through mutually‑developed criteria.
- Source candidates using the internet, advertisements, networking, cold calling, job fairs/recruiting campaigns and other effective processes.
- Engage in social media (Linked In, Facebook, Twitter, etc.) as well as network with candidates as potential employees, not just when actively looking.
- Partner with other agencies for regional strategies to address all demographics.
- Work with foreign agencies to secure out‑of‑the‑box talent such as EB‑3 workers, etc.
- Build applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites.
- Determine applicant requirements by studying job description and job qualifications.
- Determine applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants; analyzing responses; verifying references; comparing qualifications to job requirements.
- Arrange management interviews by coordinating schedules; arranging travel, lodging, and meals, if applicable.
- Improve organization attractiveness by recommending new policies and practices; monitoring job offers and compensation practices; emphasizing benefits and perks.
- Avoid legal challenges by understanding current legislation; enforcing regulations with managers; recommending new procedures.
- Coach, train and support all managers responsible for hiring with an emphasis on processes and programs that we select to implement regionally and/or company‑wide.
- Partner with Midas Central executive team and property hiring managers regularly to determine needs and fulfillment.
- Create and maintain records and metrics to provide information and to support recruiting strategies, sources, processes, etc.
- Represent the Company at recruiting events such as job fairs and college campuses.
- Provide company information, opportunities, and benefits; create and perform presentations; maintain rapport with candidates, contacts and organizations.
- Conduct pre‑screens with candidates that have the proper experience and background and set up qualified candidates with relevant interview process.
- Partner with Midas Central executive team regarding sourcing strategies, interview results and workflow.
- Review, update, and assist in creating job descriptions regularly and as needed.
- Compose and post both internal and external job postings.
- Create pre‑screening tool for each position.
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field and 2 or more years of recruitment experience; or High School diploma or general education degree (GED) and 2-4 years of recruitment/hospitality experience.
